Massachusetts FFA State Convention

Currently, the Massachusetts FFA Association is holding their annual state Convention. These conventions are usually held from Tuesday to Friday, but due to a snowstorm they just had, students had to wait a day to go to the convention. For me, I was a member of the Norfolk FFA Chapter, and as a member, I did a lot in FFA. I started off with going to my first ever FFA Convention my freshman year. I had so much fun. During my freshman year, I participated as a backup for a quiz bowl competition. Quizbowl is a competition where students test their knowledge and history of FFA. After freshman year, I developed a big love for FFA. Through my sophomore to senior year, I participated in a floriculture career Development Event. In the event, students take two to three tests, Do an ID test, create a floral arrangement, and they have to work as a team to create certain arrangments.
By Senior year, I finally achieved a goal in my life. To be a leader. I was a member of the Norfolk FFA Senior Officers as a Sentinel. I was glad to be an officer because I got to meet a lot of great students and help them develop a love for FFA. That is what I want to do in life. After College, I have another goal and this is a career goal. I want to go back to my High school and teach. If I can get one student to create a love for agricultural education, I know I am doing my job right. To the students who are currently at FFA state convention. Have a good time! For the seniors, make sure you guys make this year your greatest. Make it memorable!
